Successful Women's Retreat

2/17/08: What a fabulous weekend for the "Woman's" retreat! We have been to many cabins in the woods but this is the first time in an Alaskan villa! We were able to have all the fun without the work. Let's see, where do I start....
1. Great "snowshoe-in" on the lake.
2. Great fireworks!
3. Great night walk on the road with giant snowflakes on our hats!
4. Great stories, games, and lots of laughter!
We will be back - loved it!
-- Billi (Chugiak, Alaska)

Alaska Birds are Beautiful

5/26/08
We had a wonderful time staying at your beautiful cabin. The setting is very peaceful. We enjoyed taking the boat into the lake... unfortunately Mark came up short on the trout fishing, but we were seccessful in seeing a soaring bald eagle, several arctic terns diving for small fish, a red neck grebe, and other birds we don't have in Arizona. The location is great for fishing at Deshka lanind where Mark landed a nearly 28 lb. King Salmon! -- Mark, Gayle, and Anne (Arizona)

Dream a Dream Dog Farm

6/3/08: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lake home. The home is beautiful, the setting so peaceful and relaxing. We loved the boats, especially the kids. We visited the "Dream a Dream" dog kennels and that was such a great experience. Hiking around Nancy Lake Park was challenging for sum of us but still so much fun. Thanks again! -- Goynes (Eagle River) and Hand Families (Texas)

Londoners - Enjoy the Eating

6/20/08: We came to Alaska to find more wild orchids - and lucked out! The cabin made a lovely base for our long drives and hikes each day. Excellent kitchen for cooking the King Salmon, King Crab, and Halibut - delicious! So, we had a great time! -- Julian and Helga (London, UK)

Beautiful Alaska Wilderness

Fishing, Touring, Fun Fun Fun

7/1/08: Well, well! It's the end of a FULL week! We started in Kenai for the first half of our trip. The halibut with Rod was great. All seven of us got our two each plus we released another 20+. Caught a few reds on the Russian. Went to Homer - left a store had at the Salty Dawg Saloon. Did a 5-hour tour of Whittier to the glacier fields - that was cool! Then we moved to Nancy Lake. The crew fished with friends on Sheep Creek - caught 3 the first night and 4 the next. Meri and I went to Talkeetna one evening then took the crew back out today - had a few beers and a picnic. Love the house... all in all a great trip! -- Nancy (Oregon)

Tubing Fun

7/19/08: Our last day, it's raining, but Bill and Steven are giving it one more try for fish. They've had a good time, though. Everything's been great, the villa was everything we needed. Loved the tubing and the dogs - we're glad Steven had someone to hang out with. We learned a great deal about Alaska and Bill fulfilled his dream of coming here. Even though he didn't get any fish, he'll still have some fish stories! -- Bill, Charlotte, and Steven (Texas)

Spectacular Scenery

7/24/08:  What a vacation - we had an amazing time! The villa is beautiful and the scenery is spectacular. We went fishing, kayaking, sight seeing, and boating. Sherri and Tuff were such gracious hosts -- Tuff took the guys fishing and they had a great time. Can't wait to return to the villa for another great Alaskan adventure! -- Karen (California)

Virginia Guests Love Nancy Lake!

8/1/08: We "six buddies" from Virginia have spent the most wonderful time at Nancy Lake! The highlight was definitely meeting our friends, Tuff, Sherri, and "the boys." Great cookouts, hikes (Hatchers Pass was great!) and boat rides. We will always have fond memories of this area thanks to our gracious hosts! -- Treesha, Don, Cameila, Bill, Claudia, and Warren (Virginia)

Lotsa FISH in Alaska!!!!

8/8/08: We loved this cabin and really loved the location. For us being FISHERMEN, you couldn't have asked for a better spot. From here we pretty much covered from Denali to the Kenai Peninsula. The mountains, streams, valleys, and animals were great and none of us will ever forget them. Pretty much, it's going to be very hard for us to leave today, but we will be back! -- Mark, Justin and Matt
